Do you have the right keywords in your Product Title?
Don’t put a flowery title like “Around the World in 40 days”.
Put keywords in your title like “End of Year Summer 6th Grade Math Review Fun Activities | Digital Escape Room”
Use our TPT SEO keyword tools to help you find high-volume, low-competition keywords to try to get seen.
Who is your Ideal Customer Avatar and why are they in pain?
You have three seconds before the teacher buyer bounces away to a different product.
In your TPT Product Description, are you explaining how your TPT product eases the teacher’s pain?
For example, “no prep, just print” solves the problem of “I don’t have time to make this and I need something to teach in the next twenty minutes!)

Does your cover include your keywords and images of what teachers get?
Do you have a large font that’s easy to read when teachers see your cover in the TPT Search listings?
Do you include a photo or screenshot of your worksheets? This way, teachers can see themselves using your resource.
Do your thumbnails (Cover 2, 3, 4) communicate the benefits and features of your TPT product?
- Features: 50 pages of math questions
- Benefits: Students work independently. They are prepared for standardized tests.
Does your preview communicate the value of your resource in words and pictures? Does it build trust?
Unless your product is a dollar or two, teacher buyers look at the preview to feel safer buying your product.
Everyone has either experienced or heard stories of buying poor quality resources on TPT.
Does your product preview build trust that this is a good resource? Can teacher buyers see screenshots of what your product looks like? Do you explain the benefits and features of your resource?
