What if Mr. Beast gave advice to TPT Sellers?

I like learning from successful people in other industries.

(Sometimes in TPT land, we just repeat the same information until it becomes gospel.)

Mr Beast once gave the following advice to new YouTubers.

“Don’t expect to get any real viewership your first year. Make 100 videos. They’ll be terrible. Your first 10 videos will be garbage. Then the next 10 will also be garbage. But eventually, you’ll start to improve.”

So, yes. You might get some views on your first videos, but those views will pale in comparison with your hundredth video.

What if we took this advice and applied it to TPT land:

Make 100 resources. They will be terrible.

Your first 10 lessons will be garbage.

Then the next 10 will also be garbage.

But eventually, you’ll start to improve.

A little harsh, but is there any truth in the idea? Hit reply and tell me what you think!

After all, we all cringe when we look at our first resource. There’s so much we didn’t know when we started; We were just happy to hit publish. “What do you mean I have to make a cover too!?”

But over time, we start to learn what works and what doesn’t work.

So, which product line should you focus on?

As TPT Sellers, we throw a lot of spaghetti on the wall to see what sticks.

  • Some things stick.
  • Most don’t.

We try lots of different product line ideas. But how do we know which product lines are working?

That’s why I built a free tool. It’s called the Strategy Friend.

It helps you figure out which product lines are actually working.

You type in a keyword that’s in your title. It pull out all of the products with that keyword in the title so you can see how they’re doing.

At first, it only showed lifetime stats. Now it shows recent stats too.

Here’s a video to show you how the free tool works.
