Most of us have a bad habit here or there – maybe we don’t have a health work-life balance. Maybe we spend too much time watching screens and not enough time exercising.

So, it’s easy to say do more of the stuff that works and less of the stuff that doesn’t. But, it’s harder to actually walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

But, that’s what you need to do if you want to reach your goal.

Optimizing means tracking your progress, tinkering around trying to figure out how you can improve, and then once you have some ideas about what works and what doesn’t, then do more of what works.

Obvious, but sometimes, we don’t do the basics enough. We just dream of the big finish without wanting to do the leg work in between.

GoalSetting is not enough.

We need to pay attention to results and then see what we can do to get better results.
