Terms of Service for Zoom Workshop Hosted by SEOT Mindset Inc.
1. Acceptance of Terms By joining the Zoom workshop (“Workshop”) hosted by SEOT Mindset Inc. (“SEOT Mindset”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not participate in the Workshop.
2. Workshop Participation The Workshop provides participants with educational content in a virtual format. As a participant, you are expected to maintain professionalism and respect towards all other participants and the facilitator at all times.
3. Privacy and Data Sharing
- You are not required to share your personal data or any specific data from your Google Sheets or Product Stats CSV files with other participants unless you choose to do so.
- We utilize “forced copy” links to distribute individual copies of the Google Sheet tools to ensure your data remains private.
- During the Workshop, you may voluntarily share your data with the facilitator, or other participants if it aids in discussing your queries. Instructions on how to share data will be provided during the Workshop.
- It is important to note that while you can control the sharing settings of your documents, the workshops are recorded. If you value privacy, consider modifying your Zoom settings including your name, and turning off your camera and microphone.
- Participants are responsible for maintaining the privacy and security of any customer data they choose to share during the Workshop. They must comply with all relevant data protection laws and the Terms of Service of any platforms involved, such as Teachers Pay Teachers.
- SEOT Mindset will not be held liable for the accidental or inadvertent disclosure of private data shared by participants with the intention of displaying it during the Workshop.
4. Recording of the Workshop
- The Workshop will be recorded for quality and educational purposes. Recordings allow participants to review the content at their leisure and assist SEOT Mindset in enhancing future workshops.
- You will be notified by Zoom when recording starts.
- Recordings will be available for one month post-workshop. Beyond viewing, you may download a copy for personal use.
5. Prohibited Use of Recordings Participants are prohibited from using recordings of the Workshop for any purpose other than personal review and learning. Distribution, public broadcasting, or commercial use of the recordings is strictly forbidden.
6. Intellectual Property All materials shared during the Workshop by SEOT Mindset or participants, including documents, data and other materials, are owned by their respective creators. Such materials are shared under the principles of fair use for commentary, education, and research purposes.
7. Grant of License In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Workshop, you grant SEOT Mindset a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, perpetual right and license to reproduce, publish, distribute, display, repost, share, and edit content created, shared, or displayed by you during the Workshop.
8. Disclaimers The Workshop is provided on an “as is” basis. SEOT Mindset disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability SEOT Mindset’s liability for any damages arising from your participation in the Workshop is limited to the amount you paid to attend the Workshop. SEOT Mindset is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
10. Refund Policy A full refund is available for any reason up to 14 days after the Workshop. Participants seeking a refund must email [email protected] to initiate the process. If a refund is granted, the participant is required to delete all copies and recordings of the Workshop they may possess.
11. Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the provincial and federal laws of Ontario, Canada.
13. General Terms These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SEOT Mindset. They govern your participation in the Workshop and supersede any prior agreements. The laws of Ontario, Canada will govern these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms SEOT Mindset reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued participation in the Workshop after any changes signifies your acceptance of our updated Terms.
