Key Take Aways:

  • You need to be in the first group for the first rule (typos) if you want to rank for that keyword.
  • If you have a different spelling of the TPT keyword a teaching is searching for, you will not show up in the first group: dipthongs vs diphthongs.
  • Unless, the TPT search algorithm recognizes the two different spellings of the keyword as synonyms or related keywords: colour and color.

Key Take Aways:

  • The TPT search algorithm has fundamentally changed at least 4 times. Therefore you can’t trust old TPT SEO information. Always test assumptions (even from trusted sources) because TPT SEO is constantly changing.
  • Geolocation does not impact TPT search. Therefore you do not currently need to use a VPN to change IP addresses / countries to do TPT keyword research or TPT ranking.
  • Incognito mode doesn’t impact TPT search. (If it did, then it means that TPT personalized search is back.) You do not need to go into incognito mode to do TPT keyword research or to see where your TPT products rank.
